As part of the European Commission’s contribution to the work programme of the European Platform on Combating Homelessness (hereafter “the Platform”), it will organize a series of mutual learning activities in the 2022 – 2024 period, with the aim to reinforce the sharing of practices on the various approaches to combat homelessness in the EU Member States.

In this context, the European Commission is organizing the second mutual learning event on Preventive measures to combat homelessness in the EU, with examples from the Spain (TBC), Austria and Czechia.

The event will take place on 20 – 21 October 2022 (1.5 days) in Brussels fully in presence. It is open to all Platform members, and addressed in particular to national authorities.

The objective of the mutual learning event is to share knowledge and practices to inform policy makers and other intervening actors on different approaches for the design of homelessness preventive measures at the national level.
